The Chanel Full Flap is one of the house’s discreet treasures, produced mainly in the 1980s and early 1990s. Unlike the Classic Flap with its curved turn-lock clasp, this model is defined by a long, uninterrupted flap that closes with hidden hardware, creating a clean, minimal silhouette while retaining all the characteristics of Chanel’s heritage.
This example is in a small size, made of soft black lambskin leather and finished with 24k gold-plated hardware. Chanel stopped using 24k gold plating in 2008, making earlier pieces like this one particularly sought after by collectors.
Inside, the bag is lined with burgundy leather and finished with Chanel lettering embossed in gold, highlighting the craftsmanship of the era.
