The Chanel Full Flap is one of the house’s discreet treasures, produced mainly in the 1980s and early 1990s. Unlike the Classic Flap with its curved turn-lock clasp, this model is defined by a long, uninterrupted flap that closes with hidden hardware, creating a clean, minimal silhouette while retaining all the characteristics of Chanel’s heritage.
This example is small in size, made of supple black lambskin and finished with 24k gold-plated hardware. Chanel stopped using 24k gold plating in 2008, which makes earlier pieces like this one particularly sought after by collectors.
